KONSEP REVOLUSI KEBUDAYAAN MENURUT MAO ZEDONG

The purpose of this paper is to describe Mao Zedong’s thoughts on especially his concept of cultural revolution. This study describes the cultural revolution which is understanding as a societal strategy of change which being put forward by Mao according to Marx’s concept of historical step toward communist society. Marx’ and Lenin’s concepts influence Mao’s thoughts and policies during his power. As Lenin did to Marx, Mao took only the core of their thoughts, and then modify its content to suit China’s objective conditions. Mao’s concept of cultural revolution is a long, thorough and continuous process that begins from one event leads to another.

KONSEP ZEN TENTANG PIKIRAN

This is a literary study. All the data used in this study come mainly from bibliographical sources. This study is intended to comprehend Zen’s conception of mind descriptively, focusing particularly on the writing of its adherents. Since various propositions in Zen-Budhism is often confusing for many scholars, it is this study’s intention to further examine why this is so. It will be argued in this study that there is a fundamental difference between Chinese and Western People in terms of their ways of thinking and their scientific paradigms that is presumably rooted in their epistemological traditions. In addition, it is widely known that Zen-Budhism was meant to undermine the psychological trap of Western logic–the same logic that we sometimes used in Indonesia. However, Zen Budhisme is seeking towards liberation, and it is also emphasizing the characters of mind as spontaneous and natural. For Zen Budhism, it is impossible to be liberated if our mind is not spontaneous and natural
